Brothers Basketball Club
The Brothers Basketball Club Inc. is a local Ipswich junior basketball club with a long and proud history of being involved with the Ipswich community since its inception. We believe in inclusion and diversity, a club where gender equity is promoted and families with children are valued and supported. We foster and promote fairness and positive sportsmanship throughout all areas of our club.
Our club’s training base is at Bremer High School which has two full size indoor spring loaded basketball courts. We pride ourselves on exceptional coaching and offer weekly training sessions for all our players and teams.
The Brothers Basketball Club has the backing of Brothers Leagues Club through the kindred clubs initiative. We are proud to have a connection to our community and other sporting organisations that are under the banner of Brothers Leagues Club.
We have teams for both boys and girls aged from 5 - 18 years. We have introduced brand new eye-catching uniforms that are modern with an NBA feel and designed to pique the interested of our older and junior players. We also have an extensive range of merchandise available for purchase.

Swifts Comets Basketball Club
For more than 40 years, as an inaugural club in what was then the Ipswich Amateur Basketball Association, Swifts Comets Basketball Club has proudly provided boys and girls aged 5 to 18 with the opportunity to play basketball in the Ipswich Basketball Association (IBA) Junior Competition.
Over the years, our club has grown into one of the largest and most respected junior basketball clubs in the Ipswich region, welcoming families from across Ipswich and the surrounding communities. This growth reflects our commitment to providing a positive, inclusive and supportive environment where every player has the opportunity to learn, improve and enjoy the game.
At Swifts Comets, we believe basketball is about more than developing skilled athletes. Our goal is to help young people grow to be the best they can be both on and off the court by fostering confidence, resilience, self-discipline, teamwork, respect and leadership. While we encourage players to strive for excellence and reach their full potential, we also recognise that participation should be enjoyable, rewarding and centred around a lifelong love of the game.

Springfield Brumbies Basketball Club
About Springfield Brumbies Basketball Club...
Brumbies Club in 2018 celebrated our 10 year anniversary!
From our humble beginnings dating back to 2008, we are now one of the largest basketball clubs in the Ipswich region. Our club is run by a committee of parent volunteers with a mission of providing a solid basketball program for boys and girls aged 7-18 years old to enjoy this wonderful sport of basketball, while promoting a healthy lifestyle by being involved in team sports. We aim for our members to feel welcome and included by being involved in our basketball community.
We are a family based club supporting the areas of Greater Springfield, Camira, Brookwater, Augustine Heights, Goodna, Redbank and surrounding suburbs. All of our training sessions are held locally at Woodcrest College at Springfield and all of our games are held at one location at Ipswich Basketball Association located in Booval (approx. 15-20 mins drive from Springfield). We are active for most of the year with 2 x seasons per 12 months and we take breaks during all school holidays. We welcome kids of all experience levels, from beginners, to young elite players and everything in between.

Ipswich Grammar School
Ipswich Grammar School is the oldest grammar school in Queensland and a Prep to Year 12 independent day and boarding school. Our distinctive culture, borne out of our 158-year heritage and traditions, sets us apart from other boys’ schools.
We foster an encouraging environment that delivers more than exceptional academic results. Our GPS status sees boys from Year 5 to 12 take part in various activities between member schools. Whether it is sport, debating, the arts, literacy, or the sciences, our boys are given the opportunity to excel and network in any field. They are supported by staff from various backgrounds that bring world-class knowledge and experience to the classroom, playing field, and laboratories. Ipswich Grammar has teams in the junior IBA competition from U9 - U19 with filled with students whom attend the school.
IGS has been a part of the Club Basketball Competition since the start of 2021. This pathway provides the opportunity for our boys from 6 years to 18 years play basketball in the IBA Club Competition.
